A week and two days of school have passed, and I think I'm pretty well settled in. Only, I'm not settled in, because today was my first day back [suckers ;P.]
No seriously though, the first day back is always the best. There's that idleness that runs through the classes, as people of all sorts are just itching to boast and tell of the illustrious adventures that was their holidays. Quite often, the first day back is also one of the few days teachers are off their guard, and will tolerate any sort of crap. Some teachers anyway, yay English :D.
It is to my personal disappointment that I have not completed a lot of the books I was supposed to read over the holidays, no matter, I got everything else done :). But no matter, a new semester, a new unit of work, ;), also means a fresh start. So I'll take this opportunity to lay out what I have planned for the rest of the week.
TO DO~!
- Finish Biozone pages.
- Be up to date with my maths work.
- Understand Fly Away Peter.
- Go and buy Sophie's World.
- Watch "The Color Purple".
- Start reading a new book.
- Update this list as the week progresses.
I also must begin saving money as I'll have to be spending a lot to come on clothes, music, games, and the like.
Terribly excited for next month. New internet plan, 20gb for the absolute win.
Reflecting on a post I made a while back, I begin to question:
Is society's grip too powerful? Are people losing the fight to society to use their brains? Or are the parents to blame for this crap? Or is it the fact that times are changing whilst I'm sitting here reflecting and feeling jaded at the path that the future is headed. Perhaps I'm being to skeptical about this, I mean, they are really young, and there is time for them to change.
